After the Revolution of April of 1974, the Entreposto Commercial had some financial problems because of the inflation of the prices and from the reduction of the sales.

To try surpass this economic situation , formed itself an equip of engineers, mechanical and electricians, at all 11 persons, to develop a project of output in Portugal of an utility vehicle of the supermini segment .

This project, that began in 1975, called itself "Projecto Ximba".

During 5 years they went several experiences with peculiar motors and they produced themselves some prototypes.

The commercialization began in 1982 with the SADO 550.
